3.14.09 - Been a while since the last update, we've been busy as hell putting together a few projects, including our website re-design that's well under way. We just found out that "Asshole" of Sundance fame was accepted into the Gen Art Film Festival in NYC. What's unique about Gen Art is that only 7 shorts and 7 features are admitted, one of each on each night, followed by a huge afterparty thrown in honor of the filmmakers. Everyone who comes to the screening gets to come to the afterparty, and we wanna see all our New Yorkers come out to celebrate. You can buy tickets here - we screen Sunday, April 5th. In other, fairly related news, we sold "Asshole" to a short film distribution company called FutureShorts. Looking to see how it does in some foreign territories - the Last Pictures global takeover begins.

1.29.09 - Back from Sundance - won't even waste any finger energy typing about it, just check out the photo and video coverage here. Lotsa good stuff in the pipeline, much of it secret -- so stay tuned, as we'll be dropping little tidbits of info over the next few weeks and months concerning our master plan for media domination. In other news, we're gearing up for a sequel to our Sundance sensation, "Asshole," which should be fun - updates to come on that. Definitely feelin fine in '09.

1.14.09 - Headin out to Utah - 10 snowy days out in Park City should be a nice vacation - we'll have photo and video coverage up by the end of the trip, so keep your inboxes open for the January Newsletter. Also, as a sneak peak, check out Bryan Gaynor's THE KEY FITS (Starring Bill Hader, Brian Petsos, and Kristen Wiig), a Funny or Die exclusive, here.

12.25.08 - Happy Holidays everyone.

12.12.08 - Big news. Our short "Asshole" (Dir: Chadd Harbold, Writer: Bryan Gaynor) from earlier this year was just accepted into the Sundance Film Festival. CRAZY. Check out the film's homepage here. Since we found out it's been a whirlwind -- on top of finishing production on our most recent short film, "Happenstance," we've been scrambling with promotional materials to get ready for our Park City vacation in January. We've also locked down our latest music video for indie band KiNDERGARTEN entitled "The Man on the Stairs." Keep your eyes peeled for the December newsletter, where links to all of these projects will be available. And as always, stay on the grind.

11.21.08 - Lots of new releases comin thru in the next couple of days. We've got a new sketch, "Kenji: Master of the Dark Arts" up at our youtube page here, our newest music video, "Brooklyn" by The Creaky Boards, ANOTHER music video dropping after Thanksgiving, and our Doritos commercial for the Crash The Superbowl contest. Another sketch by Bobby Olsen is on the way after Turkey Day, as well as two more sketches with Gavin McInnes before the holidays. Even though it's getting frigid outside, things are heating up at LP headquarters.

11.6.08 - Welcome to the future. Last Pictures recently established a strategic partnership with media group StyleCaster, and the sky is the limit. We've just moved into new offices at 27th and Broadway, and we're more on the grind than ever. Our first music video, "Brooklyn" by the Creaky Boards, has just locked in post-production and will be featured at The Creaky Boards' album release party this Saturday, November 8th @ Pianos on the LES. Come and grab a drink with us and celebrate our dive into the world of music videos. MANY more on the way in winter '08 and the new year. We've also got two new sketches from Bobby Olsen that'll be available by Thanksgiving, and much much more. Stay tuned, the main event is about to begin.

9.29.08 - We just finished production on a commercial spot for Barack Obama. We figured it was time to do our part - we'll see where it goes, but if nothing else, we're doing a little something to get our boy into the oval office. Hope everybody's registered. We've also started development on another music video with indie rock group, Kindergarten. Check them out on myspace, here.

9.20.08 - Shit. Need to go back to sleep. Hell of a night, but time to get back to work. If you were at the showcase last night you saw our 2009 trailer so you already know, but to recap - the next few months are going to be a fucking blitz. Two music videos by Brooklyn indies "The Creaky Boards" and "Bear Hands", sketch comedy from Gavin McInnes (of Street Carnage and Vice Magazine fame) and Bobby Olsen, a whole lotta short form web content for Interview Magazine and StyleCaster, and oh so much more. Keep your eyes to the sky and your ears to the street - if you thought '08 was big, just wait for '09.

9.18.08 - The big day is nearly upon us - come spend the night with Last Pictures at Bad Things, our short film showcase.

7.8.08 - Lots of news today. "Dead and Lovely" is reaching the end of post-production and has been put in the capable hands of composer Simon Taufique. Chadd is staying busy with another film in post-production, "Asshole", featuring comedian Gavin McInnes of Vice Magazine fame.
